I Really Didn't Mean to Cheat

After a brutal struggle for control of her wealthy family, Ming Yuan finally takes the reins as president of the Ming Group, making her appointment in a grand public announcement.

She's rich, beautiful, and powerful. Countless admirers are intimidated by her status. Then, by chance, Ming Yuan takes an interest in a male university student who hasn't graduated yet.

The student is young, handsome, fragile-looking, and poor. He works four jobs around the clock. Ming Yuan has no idea what tragic past he might need her to save him from, and just as she's getting ready to make a move, she suddenly discovers...

He has a child.

His own. A year and a half old.

"..."

So young, and already has an even younger child.

Ming Yuan can only shake her head, regretfully give up on him, and hand over a large tip. She calls the young student over, bringing him along with his little child.

Ming Yuan sits down on the sofa, languid and self-assured, lightly tapping the armrest as she waits for the single father and child to come thank her, their complete stranger and generous benefactor.

But instead, the young single father takes a step back, holding his little child in his arms.

He looks at her face, his shock gives way to tears, and he clutches the child tightly before turning his head away, resolute and unyielding.

"You can reject me, but you don't have to humiliate me and our child like this."

Ming Yuan: "...?"

Ming Yuan can only stare again and again at the year-and-a-half-old child in the student's arms. The more she looks, the more the child's face resembles her own, like a miniature copy.

What on earth is going on?!
