The Cubs' Road to Survival

Four-year-old Bai Lele has just found herself a good friend: twelve-year-old Qi Ze, who transmigrated here from the apocalypse. As they lead him out of the forest, a chime sounds and a highway appears.

The nationwide highway survival game begins.

Disasters strike without end, monsters run rampant, and all of humanity is dragged into a highway survival game. A road with no visible end becomes everyone's nightmare.

But for four-year-old Bai Lele, who can't survive on her own, and twelve-year-old Qi Ze, who comes from a zombie apocalypse, this game is a chance to stay alive.

An endless wasteland, a lush forest, a grassland faintly fragrant with flowers, an icy snowfield...

Bai Lele and Qi Ze set out along the highway on an exciting and perilous adventure in survival.

Open treasure chests, upgrade vehicles, trade at supermarkets...

From the start, they have a bicycle. Qi Ze pedals along, carrying Bai Lele as they wobble down the road.

This highway, which has driven all the adults to despair, begins to look different.

A little scene:

The bicycle is upgraded from a single-rider model with a back seat to a tandem.

Qi Ze pedals, but it still doesn't feel any different. Frowning, he calls over his shoulder, "Bai Lele, are you pedaling?"

Bai Lele scrunches up her bun-like face and strains with all her might, going, "Heave-ho, heave-ho!" She says with great effort, "I'm trying really hard!! I'm pushing so hard!!"

Nothing changes.

Qi Ze looks back, smoke practically coming out of his nostrils. "Bai Lele, you can't even reach the pedals! How are you pushing hard?"

Bai Lele stretches her little legs straight. Even then, she can only push the pedal down a tiny bit. Her little feet wobble as she bares her teeth in a grimace.

"Heave-ho! Heave-ho!"
