Aki, an introverted girl, seems born to attract troublemakers.

After transferring schools, she is targeted by delinquents once again. To get protection, she has no choice but to ask her foster family's "older brother" for help.

Her foster brother is self-centered but dependable. Under his seemingly casual protection, Aki enjoys a period of peace.

Until one day, he leaves for Spain to pursue his soccer dream, leaving Aki behind with his younger brother.

Aki fears falling back into the spiral of being bullied, but the younger brother silently steps forward and takes over his brother's "duty." Even after the brothers' relationship falls apart, he does not abandon Aki.

...As long as she keeps praising the younger brother, as long as she keeps repeating that he is more dependable than the brother all the way over in Spain, she will be protected.

Driven by the instinct to survive, she says it quickly every time, and even gets more and more practiced at it.

Until one day, the older brother suddenly appears out of nowhere and saves Aki from danger.

Before Aki can thank him, her usually aloof foster brother suddenly raises an eyebrow and looks past her. The two brothers face off.

"You're still so indecisive," the older brother says. "That's why this happened."

The younger brother glares at him, each word deliberate: "Give her back to me."

The older brother gives a cold laugh. "Back?"

Both their gazes fall on Aki at once, burning and dangerous.

...This time, she really can't escape the bad guys.

● The heroine is a fickle, tearful softie who has absolutely no interest in soccer. There are lots of love-triangle confrontations, and both an open ending and a one-on-one ending.

● The heroine and the brothers are not related by blood, nor are they registered in the same household.

From the day he was born, Shin-nosuke Midorima was bound to a Savior System, which told him that one day he would bear the burden of saving the world, just like his idol, Ultraman.

But on the day he started middle school, the System suddenly gave him two pieces of news, one bad and one good.

The bad news was that they'd ended up in the wrong show. This was a peaceful sports anime that had no need for a savior, and the System couldn't contact its headquarters to change worlds.

The good news was that if he kept completing missions, Shin-nosuke Midorima could still become a savior.

The System advised: [Why don't we give up on the missions, Host?]

Shin-nosuke Midorima: [?]

Shin-nosuke Midorima: [No way! I will never give up on my dream!]

System: [???]

-

If there is no crisis, then create one.

Shin-nosuke Midorima believes that if you work hard enough, you can find a crisis anywhere.

On his first day at Teiko, he single-handedly stole every basketball from the basketball club and declared that they could only get them back by defeating him.

On his tenth day at Rikkai, he successfully got Sanada to chase him around the entire tennis club fifty times.

On his nth day of high school, he delivered a declaration of independence at Blue Lock.

After all this hard work, Shin-nosuke Midorima is thoroughly pleased: [Look, System! I'm about to become Ultraman!]

System: [...]

The System stares at the nearly completed mission, stunned.

How could this possibly work?? What kind of savior is he? He sounds more like the ultimate villain!

Kirihara asks curiously, "Midorima, why do you always wear that headband?"

Shin-nosuke Midorima pulls him aside and says in a mysterious voice, "It's to seal away my power as a savior. If I take it off, the seal will be broken..."

Kirihara: "...Even I don't believe that."

Then one day, Shin-nosuke Midorima takes off his headband on the court, and his whole body is suddenly enveloped in a strange red beam of light.

"Take this! The Sorrowful, Impure World!!!"

The others look at the court, which seems to have been hit by a meteorite: "..."

Wait, that was actually real??

● The protagonist is really out there (wipes sweat).

● But he's strong!

Theme: Love is an exhibition and encounter of souls.
