The Hated Omega Was Marked by the Villainous Beta He Wrote

Xu Mian is an Omega, but he has hated being an Omega ever since childhood.

He despises the ABO world, so he drew a comic and created an egalitarian world where people are divided only by sex.

Huddled in a dark, damp rented room, he drew a protagonist based on himself. In the comic, he was brave and resilient, cheerful and sunny, a great hero who feared no powerful foe.

A hero will always encounter villains, both big and small, on the road to saving the world.

And so the villainous second male lead, Meng Zhen, appeared.

He is selfish.

His mind is full of schemes.

He will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

The comic’s novel worldbuilding made it an instant hit, earning an enthusiastic following among low-status Omegas, while the villain Meng Zhen was cursed to hell and back. Everyone wished they could climb into the comic and kill him.

[Meng Zhen is disgusting. Why hasn’t the author killed him off yet!!!]

[In all my years of reading comics, Meng Zhen is the most evil villain I’ve ever seen. Please get rid of him already!]

People say love can nourish a soul until it grows flesh and blood. Xu Mian never imagined that hate could do the same.

As he stared at the person who had appeared out of nowhere in his home, he covered his mouth.

He thought, Meng Zhen was sure to kill him.

-

Meng Zhen hated Xu Mian. He hated the disgust in Xu Mian’s eyes when he created him, and hated how Xu Mian had saddled him with every vile trait.

Yet even when he hated him most, he couldn’t stop himself from kissing Xu Mian’s trembling eyelashes.

Additional notes:

1. Scumbag top vs. gloomy bottom

2. A bad person’s genuine love, with a dark flavor. I like the Beta x Omega setting, and when there’s no food, I’ll make my own. Have a taste of a top who can’t mark anyone, gets paranoid and suspicious, beats up perceived rivals, and has an extremely controlling streak.

4. Slight selfcest. Wall slam. One-on-one, faithful to each other, and a long road to win the bottom back. A melodramatic story where misunderstandings pile up because neither of them will speak up.

Theme: Who gave you the world above and the world below? Who shares with you a love as bitter as the sea?
