Why Does the Top-Tier Star’s Rival Keep Falling for Me?

Fang Jingnuo, the entertainment industry’s top-tier star and resident little menace, is arrogant and overbearing. He always lifts his chin when looking at people, as if he thinks everyone is beneath him. After accidentally falling into the water, something seems to have gone "wrong" with his brain. He can see a number above everyone’s head showing how much they like him! The results are shocking: the numbers are dismal, and red alerts are flashing everywhere. So everyone... hates him?! Fang Jingnuo’s eyes widen in disbelief. His world crumbles. Then his sworn enemy, Gu Jincheng, the newly crowned Best Actor, passes by him. Fang Jingnuo is halfway through rolling his eyes when he suddenly freezes. Above the perpetually icy, expressionless man’s head, a glaring [100%] is flashing like crazy! Fang Jingnuo’s eyes widen even further. He, he... his sworn enemy has a secret crush on him?! Homophobic straight man Fang Jingnuo completely loses it. To land the lead role in a famous director’s new film, Fang Jingnuo swallows his pride and joins a rural dating reality show with Gu Jincheng. He vows to defeat his sworn enemy and teach him a lesson! During filming, Fang Jingnuo deliberately speaks harshly and rudely to Gu Jincheng, but Gu Jincheng patiently wipes the tears from his face. Oh no, he saw through me. At mealtime, Fang Jingnuo deliberately piles Gu Jincheng’s plate with food he dislikes, then watches him provocatively. But Gu Jincheng eats it without batting an eye. Oh no, my information was wrong. During a game, Fang Jingnuo deliberately dumps all the dirty, exhausting work on Gu Jincheng. He just holds a towel and wipes Gu Jincheng’s sweat, smugly thinking he’ll work him to death. But Gu Jincheng catches him by the wrist and places his hand against his neck. "Wipe here." Oh no, Gu Jincheng really is head over heels for me! Gu Jincheng had only joined the dating show to repay a favor, never expecting to run into his industry rival, Fang Jingnuo. He considered himself a gentleman and figured that if Fang Jingnuo didn’t pick a fight with him, he wouldn’t pick one with Fang Jingnuo. They could compete fairly. But the arrogant, overbearing little menace of the rumors was actually just a cat who puffed himself up and bared his claws to bluff. When he got hurt, all he could do was lick his wounds pitifully by himself. He secretly watched Gu Jincheng all the time, and always blushed. The Best Actor, Gu, casually catered to his difficult cat master, and gradually began to catch on. Oh, Fang Jingnuo likes me. Watching the other man pout and blush, Gu Jincheng’s gaze deepened. A little cute. I want to kiss him. After the show aired, both fandoms had been sharpening their knives, ready to tear into each other. But seeing the pair onscreen acting even clingier than a real couple, they looked at each other in confusion. Um... are we still fighting? Maybe... we can put down our keyboards and ship them together? ❶ A proud, fluffy, feisty cat-like beauty bottom x a cool, mature, self-assured top who takes care of him ❷ Two top-tier stars, each other's first love, both chaste, happy ending, sweet treat, rural dating show elements ❸ No side couples, one-on-one romance ❹ The affection-rating System isn't real.
