Years later, Yu Feiwan suddenly asks, "Why did you come back to the country so suddenly back then?"

The man, kneeling on one knee to help him put on his shoes, pauses. "I dreamed you were crying. I wanted to wipe your tears, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't touch you."

"I came too late."

"Not too late."
