This page was originally for The I Ching Knows Evil (Detective Story), a planned episodic mystery. For various reasons, I need to start a new story here~

This page will be replaced with a short historical romance I wrote earlier. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience~~
[Original Blurb]
Xun Shu's main job is carving flowers into coffins. As a side hustle, she sets up a fortune-telling stall on street corners and in alleyways. Her greatest wish in life is simply to live until she dies of old age.
Until one day, she finds a young man with a prosperous destiny...
She thinks he'll bring her more money and riches than she could ever count, but she never expects endless turmoil and trouble.
Murder cases are breaking out one after another in Chaozhou, and through a series of strange coincidences, Xun Shu uses divination to solve several major cases.
Just when she's riding high on success, the man suddenly disappears.
Afterward, the coffin shop is sealed, all its workers are thrown into prison, and only Xun Shu manages to escape.
She can only blame herself for being blind. She thought she'd saved a god of wealth, but he turned out to be a heartless dog.
Grinding her teeth, Xun Shu plots a rescue while filling an entire room with talismans to curse that dog.
Li Xuanhe, the only son of the Marquis of Qingjun, is ambushed and wounded. He escapes into the mountains and loses consciousness.
When he wakes, he is lying in a coffin, surrounded by pitch darkness, unable to see his own hand in front of him... Has he been buried alive?
Just then, the coffin lid opens, and a smiling face appears above him.
Xun Shu: "You're in good shape, young man. Awake already?"
Li Xuanhe: ...
Not knowing whether she is friend or foe, he can only pretend to have amnesia and wait for help.
Day after day, he accompanies Xun Shu as she cons people and solves cases. To his surprise, he starts to think this life isn't so bad...
Until one day, someone comes looking for him from Chang'an. The coffin shop is hit by disaster, and she disappears without a trace.
Episodic story, happy ending, focused on mystery and deduction.
The fortune-telling and divination in this story are traditional, not a golden finger~
