Starry Pearls

Someone asked what a hopeless lesbian should do when she's fallen for a straight woman and there's no chance. Li Zhenzhu replied below, "What can you do? You're doomed."

In the end, Li Zhenzhu never did get to see Xie Fanxing divorce for the second time. She seemed happy, and yet somehow not. Li Zhenzhu sent her a Valentine's Day postcard, but Xie Fanxing's husband saw it and threw it in the trash. Xie Fanxing thought her husband was being unreasonable. It was the first time she'd ever run away from home.

That day, Xie Fanxing dug the trash can Li Zhenzhu had given her out of the garbage and carefully tucked it into her pocket.

By then, she and Li Zhenzhu had known each other for over twenty years.

It was also the third year since they'd lost touch.
