After I Got a Cat for Free from My Dying White-Moonlight Campus Crush

By the time Li Gumi learned that the school heartthrob she had secretly loved had died, a year had already passed.

Everyone else had moved past their grief by then, but she was still standing there in a daze.

She wanted to pay her respects to Yuan Chi, but his ashes were buried in a cemetery overseas. One day, Li Gumi, distraught and confused, went abroad to the heartthrob's house. The gate to the courtyard was open.

After entering, Li Gumi found the house empty. When the housekeeper learned who she was, she offered to host her. Then Li Gumi saw a cat, a gray one. If Yuan Chi were here, he would surely love it.

"Was this Yuan Chi's cat?" she asked the housekeeper, who confirmed that it was. Li Gumi began secretly putting a plan into action.

She started a cat-swapping operation.

Once she had brought Yuan Chi's cat back to her home in China, she scolded herself even as she doted on the little cat, feeling just as miserable as she had when she confessed her feelings to Yuan Chi and he turned her down.

Until one day, Yuan Chi appeared in her dream...

He must have come to scold her for stealing his cat.
