Time and Xie Mo

Xie Mo was cold and desireless, with only one goal: to make her family business bigger and stronger.

So when her childhood friend Gu Nianju came to confess his feelings and asked her to help him put on an act, she agreed.

She played the one who turned him down, leaving Gu Nianju free to pursue the person he truly loved.

She, meanwhile, immersed herself in the business world and grew more and more capable.

Until she was diagnosed with cancer.

Heaven wouldn't favor her forever.

After learning about her illness, Xie Mo put down all her work and went on vacation.

Just as she was preparing to face it all alone, Gu Nianju's foreign cousin barged into her world.

Just as he had once firmly insisted that Xie Mo teach him Chinese.

"A-Mo, my name is Xie Qian now. I thought that way you'd remember me."

His name had originally been Eric, but he'd changed it on a whim just to feel closer to her.

In the end, though, Xie Mo still called out to him. "Qian, that's a nice name. I already remember you."
