A Good-for-Nothing Glutton, Yet an Overcomer

For the sake of good food, Oda Lili kept wondering how she could submit a resume to the organization of the super-rich American she'd heard had brought his ability-user organization to Yokohama.

Her persistence paid off. After wandering all over Yokohama, she tracked down one of her future boss's subordinates at a street corner.

Inside Anne's room, someone was being pinned to the floor by Anne, someone else was watching with an inscrutable expression, and someone was hugging Anne's owner and saying:

"Are your salaries really high? Give me a chance to apply! This kid's about to starve!"

"My ability is called Fifty-Fifty. It means that anyone I mark as an enemy will have all their attributes brought to my level. Every fight ends in a draw, no matter who I'm up against. Give me a partner, and even a god can be beaten."

"I have a very high moral standard. I never kill anything that can't be eaten."

"Please take me on! I really want to earn enough to eat the cooking of Totsuki graduates!"

"My motto is: The whole point of being alive is to eat a little bit of something good!"

In the end, her dream boss was defeated by the local powers, and Oda Lili was packed up and taken to the Armed Detective Agency by a guy who claimed to be her brother's best friend.

Oda Lili, looking at her pay slip: "...Not bad, I guess!"

Reader's guide:

1. More plot than romance.

2. Her pairing is still that white-haired Totsuki top student, Shio.

3. Crossover arcs with other worlds will appear in the Yokohama and Tokyo settings.

4. Lili's strength is Schrodinger's.
