Transmigrated to a World Without Ultraman

My name is Kurihara Masumi, and I’m a technician at XIG. Don’t look down on this job. XIG is humanity’s top combat force, and even its technicians are at the cutting edge of modern network technology.

In my world, science and weapons are incredibly advanced. After all, compared with human wars, we’ve moved on to fighting monsters sixty meters tall.

Of course, those weapons and technologies aren’t much use against monsters. But that’s all right. Ultraman, the Giant of Light, will take care of everything.

One day, however, while helping my senior, Takayama, with a quantum experiment, I wound up in a world without Ultraman.

Fortunately, there are no monsters here, either.

It’s just... aren’t there a few too many murder cases in Beika Town?!

Murder = monster

The Grim Reaper Elementary Schooler = Giant of Light

The police = XIG

Once I’d worked out the conversion formula, I packed myself off to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department overnight and got back to my old line of work.
