A Dog That Won't Seduce Its Master Isn't a Good Dog

[Older Woman/Younger Man Romance, Only the Parents' Love Story, No Child-Rearing]

A few days ago, I picked up a delinquent boy who claimed to be homeless. He moved into my place, offering to help with the housework in exchange.

During our brief time together, I quickly realized...

This guy had both a handsome face and a great body, with the looks of a pretty boy. On top of that, he was amazing at housework and knew exactly how to make people happy. But I cleverly took all his attempts to please me as signs that he wanted something from me.

And so, we began living together, each minding our own business.

Until one day, I got word that my cousin, who runs a seafood company in Italy, was coming back to China.

He told me he planned to open a branch near our hometown.

I thought it was a win-win: I could see my cousin and friends again after all this time, and find a job for the guy currently living under my roof. It didn't matter that he had no qualifications. With a physique like his, getting a job as a security guard would be a piece of cake.

But while I was busy planning all this, something unexpected happened first.

It was an utterly ordinary morning.

I'd just finished pulling an all-nighter to meet a writing deadline. Dark circles under my eyes, I locked gazes with my housemate, who had just come in from the rain.

He asked me, "Are you planning to kick me out now?"

At the same time, I was surprised to discover...

The guy was looking at me like a puppy abandoned by its owner, his eyes all dewy. It was almost as if... he was trying to seduce me?!!!

After realizing I had stumbled upon a whole new world, I immediately fell into deep thought.

*Pairing: Toji. The heroine is an ordinary person, or maybe not.

*This isn't exactly the same Miao from the Chihaya series. Think of it as a story set in a parallel world.

Theme: Love Never Faileth.
