*There were originally six worlds planned, though the number may change. At least four, no more than eight. Each world should run for at least thirty chapters, so it’s a slow transmigration story (?).

*I’ll do my best to include all the tropes mentioned in the blurb, but I may run short on inspiration when the time comes and be unable to write one or two of them. The world list below is the definitive guide to what’s planned.

*Each world has one couple. The tone varies a little from world to world.

1. "Infinite Game Boss, Please “Enjoy the Gossip”"

Lu Yu is a textbook corporate drone: he loves slacking off, is great at clocking in right on time, and routinely takes paid bathroom breaks. His stingy boss is so furious that he threatens to clog every toilet in the entire office building.

But Lu Yu is reasonably capable at his job, so the boss can’t bring himself to actually fire him.

Lu Yu thinks his life will carry on like this, ordinary and peaceful, until one day a thing calling itself the Gossip System appears and gives him a gossip entry: “Lu Yu, the Host himself, male, twenty-seven years old... Publicly, an ordinary human and corporate drone. In truth, a quasi-deity who commands the power of rules, a calamity king whose name inspires terror, and an overwhelmingly powerful final Boss...”

Lu Yu: “...”

Who? Me?

Note: A touch of the deification trope. Fake gossip, real Boss. “Corporate drone” is self-deprecating humor, not an insult; the author is a wage slave too.

2. "Desecration"

Chu Shenxiang spent just over twenty years as Chu Shenxiang, a human from Earth, but a full two hundred years as Shenxiang Jun, a wild god in another world.

How could twenty-odd years compare with two hundred?

Surrounded for years by the resentment and strangeness of a chaotic age, by demons and evil spirits, and by boundless loneliness, he had long since lost everything that made him human. All that remained was an emotionless clay-and-stone shell, destined sooner or later to crumble into dust.

Then, for reasons unknown, Chu Shenxiang regained his humanity.

But by then, he no longer cared.

He believed he had no need for humanity and would never again be moved by anything. Until one night, the young master from the village below, who had worshipped him as a godbrother since childhood in hopes of changing his fate, sleepwalked into his temple, stripped naked before his statue, and clung to it in tears.

Good little brother, is this how you show respect to your godbrother?

Note: The top and bottom are not blood relatives or related by marriage. The top is a wild god, and the bottom’s becoming his sworn younger brother is adapted from the old custom of taking sworn kin. It only serves the setting of this ancient-world novel and does not promote superstition.

3. "The Top Alpha Was Once a Discarded Omega"

Even as an Omega, Qi Pingye was famous for being wild and untamable.

If he had remained the young master of the Qi family on Central Star, that wildness would have been a rare and intriguing quality among the wealthy, drawing countless Alphas to pursue him and fall hopelessly in love.

But then everything changed.

The real young master of the Qi family was found and brought home. Qi Pingye, the impostor who had occupied his place for years, was exposed in a single day, and his only fate was to be discarded.

The day his gland was removed and he was exiled to the Fengxing Expanse, no one imagined that this fake young master would one day return to Central Star and stir up a storm.

Until a high fever caused Qi Pingye’s gland to regenerate. He underwent a second differentiation, escaped the illnesses that had plagued him since he was discarded, and became an S-rank Alpha.

Note: This world has already undergone an ABO equality movement. The ABO setting is only here to bring the top and bottom together; this is not a traditional ABO world.

4. "The Powerful Minister Returns to His Youth"

Yu Shiqing was a powerful minister of great renown during the Daqi dynasty’s Jianding era.

Some called him an old fox, calculating and devious, a grave threat to the dynasty. Others praised his noble character and unmatched virtue, calling him the pillar that held the realm steady.

But whether people condemned or praised him, Yu Shiqing didn’t care. What did other people’s opinions have to do with him? He only cared about what mattered to him.

The people, his country, the affairs of state, and his sovereign, Ye Cangxing.

Yu Shiqing and Ye Cangxing had been a young sovereign and minister. Together, they had snapped willow branches by the Huai River and marched side by side across snowy plains to defeat their enemies. Yu Shiqing believed he had devoted all his loyalty and love to this sovereign. He wanted him to be happy and carefree, with a boundless realm beneath his feet, whether or not he could ever confess his own feelings.

But the world was always cruel.

The sovereign died young. Yu Shiqing never saw him one last time before his passing. All he received was a thin slip of paper, nearly blank, with a single unfinished character for “beloved” hastily written on it.

And so, for many years afterward, Yu Shiqing kept that slip of paper and that one character close, holding together the tottering Daqi for decades, until his body grew frail and his soul returned to the underworld.

“If there is a next life...”

As he closed his eyes, Prime Minister Yu, who had always valued practical action and never indulged in wishful thinking, had only that one thought in his heart.

Perhaps Heaven took pity on him, because when Yu Shiqing opened his eyes again, he had truly returned to the age of seventeen, back to the Huai River beneath its swaying willows.

[Reader’s Guide]

1. A male-lead-focused anthology, one couple per world. Mutual devotion, both virgins, happy endings, no childbirth. I wanted to try more pairings and story types, so here we go.

2. These are light, sweet palate cleansers sandwiched between more serious stories. The characters love showing off, the author is letting loose, and the plot is full of holes.

3. Readers with strong character preferences, please enter with caution. The plot comes first, so this may not suit readers who are particular about character roles.

4. The character designs on the cover were provided by an artist and are not exclusive. The character cards were casually doodled by a friend.

5. Both partners put effort into the relationship. Don’t keep score; they only love each other. Don’t break up the couple, switch their roles, or self-insert. No one is perfect, and the characters have flaws.

6. No scraping, ranking manipulation, reposting, or adaptations. Please don’t bring this novel up under other stories, or bring other stories up here. Let’s respect one another.

7. The blurb’s concept was set on May 18, 2025, and screenshots have been saved as proof. Anyone who plagiarizes or borrows from it will immediately flop and never get a good ranking.
