I Transmigrated into the Ending of an Explicit Novel as a County Magistrate

[Gong POV, historical danmei.] [Originally titled The Seventh-Rank County Magistrate. The blurb may be adjusted, but the setting, characters, and plot hooks will stay the same.] Song Huai transmigrated into an ancient-setting, fictional-world novel about a scumbag gong and a masochistic shou, complete with explicit content. He became the notorious scumbag gong in the story. But by the time he arrived, the plot was already nearing its end. He thought he had been handed a life he could never clear his name of, but after waking up, Song Huai discovered that the story had changed completely. He never met the protagonist shou or got tangled up with him in a haze of censored scenes. He didn't pass the imperial exam as a third-place graduate and become a Hanlin academician, either. Instead, he scraped by with the lowest passing rank and became a miserable little county magistrate in a remote mountain village. And all these changes seemed to stem from a hateful yet lovable, scheming fox. Jiang the Fox: “I specialize in treating beasts in human clothing.” Song Huai: “...Then you should start by treating yourself!” *Please Read Before Starting* 1. Gong POV, 1v1, fictional ancient setting, sweet romance with mutual devotion, happy ending. 2. The worldbuilding is entirely made up. The author has a terrible memory and shaky logic, so readers who scrutinize every detail may want to steer clear. No unsolicited writing advice. Personal attacks will be returned in kind. 3. Nobody is perfect. Both leads have flaws and are imperfect. They both put effort into their relationship. The pairing will not be reversed or broken up. The protagonists are both the author's beloved children, so trolls and readers with extreme gong- or shou-favoring preferences, please don't read. 4. The author just wants to read this kind of story, so they're writing it themselves. If it's not your thing, please click the X. 5. This blurb was finalized on July 14, 2020, and has already been screenshotted as proof. Steal or copy the plot and you'll go bald, flop, choke on your water, and never make the bestseller list. Theme: If you won't serve the people as their magistrate, you might as well go home and sell sweet potatoes.
