Mark Better's Adventure: Retracing His Steps

Mark is a second-year student at the Combat Academy of the Alberta School for the Superpowered, part of the Interstellar Alliance. Alberta has four academies: Combat, Guard, Repair, and Construction, corresponding to the four roles of the superpowered: combatants, guardians, repairers, and builders. Mark is no ordinary student at the Combat Academy. He possesses a special energy and is the child of hope for the Interstellar Alliance. At the end of last semester, Alberta's students were kidnapped by space pirates. The children used their wits to battle the villains and emerged victorious. Mark also unleashed his special energy to protect everyone and fell into a coma, but fortunately, he came through without serious harm.

This year's lessons will take place somewhere unusual. Rather than studying at school, the students will embark on an educational journey. Following in the footsteps of generations of superpowered people, they will retrace the steps of their predecessors as they built their cities, brick by brick and blade of grass by blade of grass, and gain a deep understanding of how the Interstellar Alliance came to be.
