The first time Shen Gongqiu met Xiao Tinghe, she was on a blind date.

Though she was being mocked and ridiculed, she remained calm and gentle.

Shen Gongqiu stepped in to help her out. He ate the strawberry cake Xiao Tinghe gave him in thanks, then ended up in the hospital with an allergic reaction.

The second time Shen Gongqiu met Xiao Tinghe, she was at a bookstore.

At work, she was aloof and cold, indifferent to everything.

Shen Gongqiu went over to greet her and became an employee at Xiao Tinghe's bookstore, taking on all the heavy lifting there.

From then on, he couldn't help letting his gaze drift toward her.

Falling for Xiao Tinghe was only natural.

At some point, she became the only person in his heart.

But life is about more than romance.

Before deciding to officially get together, we have to become better versions of ourselves.
