There Can Be Only One King (Esports)

Chen Beihe and Chu Xinglan are hugely popular esports players in the Sacred Realm Pro League. They have always been at each other's throats. Rumor has it that the pheromones of these two "Alphas" repel each other, and that two tigers cannot share one mountain. Their teams have also been bitter rivals for years, and their fans are always at each other's throats. At the S4 All-Star event, during the trash-talk segment: Chu Xinglan: "The player I most want to kill is you. Killing you always puts me in a great mood~" Chen Beihe: "Oh, if I don't beat you so badly today that you're crawling on the ground, I'll take your surname!" Both teams' fans and the other players: "Fight! Fight!~" Who could have guessed that during the new season's transfer window, Chu Xinglan would join Chen Beihe's team, turning the two sworn enemies into teammates? One day, after training, Chu Xinglan suddenly went into heat on their way back to the dorm. Chen Beihe approached out of curiosity to take a look, only for the Alpha, out of control, to kiss him right then and there. Pinned to the bed and kissed until his head spun, Chen Beihe felt a strange rush of heat surge from deep within his body. Oh no, was he about to present? The two star players were carried into the hospital together in an ambulance, and paparazzi posted the photos on the trending list. Bystanders watching the drama speculated: "Did these two actually get into a real-life fight?" "I wonder which one won?" "Sworn enemies beating each other into the hospital, this has to be the esports world's most hellish joke, hahaha!" The two had not fought at all. They had kissed, and once they came to their senses, they stared at each other in shock. After that, the atmosphere between them suddenly became rather complicated. They had been bitter rivals for years, so why the hell were their pheromones such a perfect match? And why was Chu Xinglan looking at him more and more strangely? No one knew that Chen Beihe and Chu Xinglan had actually grown up together as childhood friends. They had been bickering and getting into endless feuds since kindergarten. They called each other sworn enemies, but were the most important people in each other's hearts.
