In the Apocalypse, Don't Scare Yourself

[Human uke x Werewolf seme]

In the future, humans are the most advanced species in the world. They rule over everything, including beastmen and the spiritual qi revival.

Jing He, a member of a field team, was decisive and efficient. Then, two years ago, an accident separated him from his beastman partner, and he fell into despair.

When No. 0039 returned, he had a name of his own: Hua Yunheng. He had been fitted with a mechanical arm, and the first thing he did after rejoining society was find Jing He.

At midnight, Hua Yunheng snuck into Jing He's room, clamped a hand around his neck, and took him back to his own base.

The wolf-type No. 0039, who once obeyed like a kitten, had returned as a true hunter.

Hua Yunheng said, "I hate all humans. They're selfish, arrogant, and stubborn. But you're the only one I like."

Jing He stumbled out of the beastmen's territory. He tried to escape the beasts' claws and fangs, but forgot that they had noses like dogs.

Hua Yunheng found him every time, but instead of capturing and tearing him apart, he took an unusual delight in the chase.

Once again, he caught Jing He. His cold mechanical arm gripped Jing He's cheek, not too tightly and not too loosely. It didn't hurt Jing He, but it wouldn't let him escape either.

Jing He fought back, grabbing Hua Yunheng's hand with both of his, and saw...

Engraved on that cold, terrifying arm was the name "Jing He."
