The Retired Emperor's Fake Son

Fake father and son, true age gap.

Gloomy beauty, doting father-figure top x playful bottom

Blurb:

Liu Yuan is a fake Taoist priest.

Whenever someone dies or falls ill, he puts on a Taoist robe, takes his horsetail whisk, and goes to lend the occasion some gravitas.

He gets thirty wen each time. Sometimes generous people, taken by his handsome, pitiful looks, even give him a tip. Business is booming.

If things keep going like this, perhaps in another decade or so, he'll be able to afford a home in the capital.

That is, until he is taken to the palace and meets that man.

The former crown prince, now the Retired Emperor.

The man, whose features resemble his own, personally helps him into a scarlet python robe.

"You are My Crown Prince. You should call Me Father."

The man's half-white hair falls against Liu Yuan's face. His low voice sounds almost like a temptation. "As long as you behave, you and I will be the most honored and closest pair in the world."
