Yes! I Really Am the Omnipotent Bodyguard :)

Mi Jia transmigrates into a book.

He lands in a perilous tale of warring powers, as a disposable shadow guard destined to die within three chapters.

But he is the protagonist of a children's cartoon.

Nobody dies in our children's cartoons.

Qin Jingyang has fought on the battlefield since he was young. At just seventeen, he is proclaimed king by his closest aides.

Lately, he has begun to think that something is off about his shadow guard.

When his guard runs into a wall, he can leave a face-shaped dent in it. When he cuts his finger, blood sprays ten feet into the air. When he has a fever, his head can literally roast sweet potatoes. When he eats, he can swallow an entire roast chicken in one bite, then spit out bones one by one that land on the table and reassemble into a whole skeleton.

When he is happy, little flowers pop up around him. When he cries, two waterfalls appear on his face. When he is anxious, his hair turns into a charred, curly mess. When he screams, it is incredibly loud, and a heart pops out of his mouth.

It's like he's run into a ghost. He's so scared.

And this ghost makes no distinction between friend and foe, hurting others one moment and himself the next.

He's scared even when kissing him. The guard keeps saying things like, "This isn't allowed on children's TV," and turns an astonishing shade of red. Little flowers even cover that place, and he can't get them off no matter what. Then thunder and lightning start, too.

Honestly, he's terrified.

But he doesn't stop.

After all, this is a children's cartoon. He can't get electrocuted to death. :)
