Bad Friends

Blurb:

Lin Ting has a childhood friend.

His childhood friend is tall and handsome, and all the teachers and students like him. But he's always mean to Lin Ting.

He taps his forehead. "You're so stupid. You can't even do this problem?"

He pokes him in the spine. "I really haven't been drinking or smoking. Besides, even if I were, what does that have to do with you?"

He pinches his cheek. "I said you don't have to worry about me. Can you stop meddling, already?"

Lin Ting wonders if Song Zhi would even be his friend if they hadn't grown up as neighbors.

Always being looked down on is getting to him, too.

Maybe it's time to change.

Over summer vacation, he reads a lot of books. Before the new term starts, he takes a reference picture to the barber and gets his hair cut, then buys some nice clothes and shoes.

But no matter what, he's still himself. He hasn't really changed all that much. Yet when Song Zhi comes to find him for lunch, he freezes in place.

From that day on, Song Zhi seems different. He stops insulting him, becomes very obedient, and keeps showing up in Lin Ting's classroom for no particular reason.

In private, he's even more docile, wrapping his arms around Lin Ting's waist, resting his head on his lap, and clinging to him without letting go.

A lousy friend who judges people by their looks.

A clueless top who always obeys his wife and has actually been in love with him all along x a resilient, strong, and adorable bottom
