Joseph is a newly adult incubus from the Abyss.
With graduation approaching, he wants to stay on at the academy as a laid-back instructor, so he chooses the most difficult internship assignment:
Working at a brothel in the Holy Capital!
On his first trip away from home, he travels over hill and dale before finally reaching the Holy Capital and finding the right place. On his first day on the job, he meets a customer who makes his cheeks burn and his heart race, all hard and wet.
What incubus could be luckier than him?
Joseph is delighted. Just as he’s about to use his signature move, the customer suddenly barks:
“Get down! Hands on your head, and don’t move!”
Right after that, a crowd of fierce-looking holy knights, swords in hand, floods in from outside.
Joseph crouches by the customer’s feet with his hands over his head, trembling in fear. Have they discovered what he is?!!!
It’s over, it’s all over!
He’s heard that when an incubus is discovered, they’re dragged to the entrance of a holy church, tied to a cross, and tortured to death with holy light and holy water!
Who could have guessed that the customer would turn out to be a knight commander, the brothel would be shut down, and Joseph would be thrown in prison to await trial?
Luckily, he’s released for attempted solicitation. Those fools never realize he’s actually an incubus.
The next day, battered and bedraggled, Joseph stands outside the knight commander’s house and stops him as he returns from the royal palace.
“My lord, please, could you take me in? I can do anything.”
When the other man remains unmoved,
Joseph takes a step forward and grabs the corner of the knight commander’s clothes where it shows beneath his armor, afraid he’ll run off.
His dirty little hands leave a trail of gray fingerprints on the fabric. Looking up, he does his best to appear as pitiful as possible, as if he’ll die if no one saves him. Two streaks of tears cut clear trails down his grimy face.
“I won’t ask for money. Just food and a place to stay...”
At the time, Talyon has only one thought: I want to get him clean.
Much later, after Joseph’s internship ends, he drops the act, transforms in front of Talyon, and flees back to the Abyss.
He thinks he can go back to his laid-back life, but his mentor forces him into a new assignment, ties him up, and sends him back to the Holy Capital, straight to Talyon’s bed?!!!
Seeing Talyon standing beside the bed with a grim expression, and thinking about what’s about to happen, Joseph trembles in fear and wets the sheets.
Can someone tell him what on earth is going on?!
