A black wolf was sticking its rear in the air as it tried to squeeze through a doorway when the door suddenly opened.
Bai Yu had just finished showering. Water still dripped from the ends of his hair, and he noticed the other's gaze seemed to be wandering beneath his bathrobe.
"What are you looking at?" He raised a leg and kicked the wolf's head away.
The black wolf instinctively stuck out its tongue and licked him once, then yelped excitedly, its tail spinning so fast it was about to turn into a propeller.
Bai Yu was so startled that he pulled his foot back.
Bonus Scene 2:
A younger brother suddenly appeared at Bai Yu's side.
Ye Gou was driving, listening as Bai Yu chatted with his younger brother, who sat close beside him, about things from before he was born.
"Don't distract me while I'm driving!" he snapped at the younger brother, sniffing repeatedly.
Ye Gou didn't dare look at Bai Yu's expression. Everything in his field of vision was finely divided and overlapped by tears, forming one distorted double image after another.
"Sit still," Bai Yu sternly ordered his younger brother.
The younger brother turned around and smiled ominously at Ye Gou.

1. Wu Wenle was reborn.

Wu Wenle grabbed a knife and charged out. The zombie started running.
He chased after it, and the zombie tripped and fell.
The plastic bag had a huge hole in it, and Wu Wenle saw the face of his husband, Fu Weiyan…
What the hell kind of world was this?! How had his husband turned into a zombie?!

An alien spore known as Pandora infected nearly two-thirds of all organic life, creating all kinds of Pandora ecosystems.
Humans were hunted by zombies and mutated creatures, their living space shrinking rapidly as food grew scarce…
No one knew that, in the center of the monster nest in the once most prosperous and densely populated capital, now home to the highest-level evolved creatures and a place so terrifying that people were afraid to set foot there, two "humans" were living.
They had a sprawling farm. Its workers were strange-looking, vicious, and terrifying mutated creatures, but its crops were unpolluted plants and animals that ordinary people could eat.

People outside lived in misery, doing whatever it took to survive, while these two seemed to have retired early.
