Blurb:
A brooding, obsessive vampire seme with a plushie obsession and a gentle, food-loving little guinea pig uke
Uke's perspective
Chu Rui is a guinea pig beastman. Neglected and rarely cared for, he grew up hungry and became so thin he was almost misshapen.
On his eighteenth birthday, he was to be offered as a gift to a powerful figure.
While fleeing in guinea pig form, he accidentally stumbled into a forbidden zone.
When he opened his eyes again, a black-haired man with red eyes was holding him up by the scruff and inspecting him. All the little guinea pig could do was stare back with his tiny black bead-like eyes.
The man's face was deathly pale, and his eerie blood-red eyes were fixed on him.
The little guinea pig: Monster! An evil spirit is going to eat me!
A cool touch brushed his soft little belly. The evil spirit was poking it, raising an eyebrow with an amused look. "What wonderfully soft fluff."
Chu Rui: "Squeak, squeak, squeak!" (Don't rub me!)
The man poked his head, then became addicted to rubbing the tiny little ball of fur.
The evil spirit loved feeding Chu Rui all kinds of delicious things. Every day there was more than enough food, fruit, and snacks.
His gaze was anything but innocent. Whenever the little guinea pig nibbled on something tasty, he could feel the man's scorching stare.
The little guinea pig: He gives me yummy food (munch munch munch) so I'll get fat (munch munch munch) and then he'll eat me (munch munch munch).
Chu Rui really did grow rounder and rounder. His once-frail guinea pig body became plump and well-fed.
The male ghost stopped letting him out of his sight. Every day, he kept his gaze fixed on Chu Rui, fondled his soft, pudgy body, and pinched his ears.
The little guinea pig refused to sit around waiting for his fate. He stashed snacks and loose change under the sofa like a hoarding mouse.
He was certain the male ghost had no idea he was a beastman and was simply raising him as food.
The day he escaped, his mouth was still stuffed with nuts.
Chu Rui turned back into a beastman and found a job as a waiter at a bar to scrape by.
He still missed the delicious food...
...Absolutely not the vampire!! (Yeah, right.)
Then Chu Rui turned around and bumped into a cool embrace. Looking up at those familiar blood-red eyes, his face went deathly pale.
He didn't think the male ghost would know he was the little guinea pig.
"Hello, sir..."
The man cornered him against the wall, grabbed his wrists, pinned them above his head, and pressed him hard against the wall.
"Had enough fun? If you have, come home with me."
The little guinea pig was so frightened that his ears popped out. He gazed up at him pleadingly. "Please don't eat me..."
The man smiled.
"Shouldn't I eat the wife I raised myself?"
Seme's perspective
Xi Lin is a vampire who cannot drink blood.
He's a veteran fluff enthusiast who can understand animals.
Then one day, a pitiful little guinea pig suddenly appeared in front of him, and Xi Lin stroked its soft little belly.
So soft, so warm.
The little guinea pig had a faint apricot fragrance that could dispel a vampire's unease and irritability.
Xi Lin was more than happy to keep the little guinea pig as a soothing incense.
He could hear the little creature's constant muttering.
The frail little guinea pig was a beastman and a food lover. When he secretly changed into his beastman form, he was a cute boy with round eyes.
Even more absurdly, the little guinea pig kept thinking Xi Lin wanted to eat him.
Xi Lin didn't explain. Instead, he treated the little mouse even better and raised the boy well.
One day, the guinea pig at home ran away...
That night.
A vampire dressed in black appeared at a bar. In a dim, hazy corner, he held a cute boy with animal ears captive, refusing to let go.
He buried his face in the boy's fair neck and inhaled as if addicted. His fangs emerged without him realizing, pressing against the boy's thin skin.
Of course the wife he raised should be his to enjoy.
Little extra scene:
An angry Chu Rui walked toward the vampire with a cross necklace around his neck and a wooden cross in his hand, his gaze resolute.
The other man curled his lips and said flippantly, "That Jesus only lived to be thirty-three. Why would you think his church could drive away vampires? Besides..."
He looked at the piece of wood with disdain. "That's a peachwood cross you're holding."
The vampire leaned down, his upturned, peach-blossom eyes blinking alluringly. "Baby, I'm not a pureblood vampire. I'm a hybrid."
A smile bloomed on his pale face. His eyes curved as he continued, "So I'm not afraid of this."
He pinched the cross between two fingers. It snapped with a crack.
The peachwood cross meant to ward off vampires lay broken in two on the ground, while the fluffy ears were rubbed in the other man's hand.
The little guinea pig beastman was forced to bite down on a silver cross pendant that gleamed with cold light, his muffled voice echoing through the night.
