Domina has always thought that a lot of game companies are awful.
They release half-finished games, and the character creator isn't flexible enough. Fine. But they even copied her facial data!
Looking at the father NPC who looks remarkably like her, Domina decides to file a complaint as soon as she logs out. Before that, though, she'll level up, get some gear, and do a few life-sim side quests.
Luckily, the starting city is full of monsters. Domina dives headfirst into the monster-infested quest grind and doesn't look back.
By the time she realizes what's going on, she notices her family NPCs are looking at her strangely.
NPCs can't have minds of their own, haha! That's what makes a full-dive game so immersive!
She glances at the notification: ["Apokolips" has become part of your territory. Give it a new name!], and starts thinking of something simple and easy to remember.
.
At first, Bruce feels sorry for his new daughter.
The little girl must have endured who knows how many hardships before finally returning to the family. Bruce secretly vows to make up for all the pain she's suffered over the years.
That is, until he sees that...
Every morning, his youngest daughter rummages through the trash cans around Wayne Manor, then, depending on what she finds, gives them things that couldn't possibly have come from the trash, even though they've seen her pull them out of the bins;
Every night, she sneaks out to do all sorts of dangerous things. Even when she's caught, she takes it in stride and even sends them party invitations. When she gets hurt, they panic, only for her to pull out a plate of food, swallow it whole along with the plate, and recover instantly;
She can always produce the strangest things, some of which don't even look like they're from this planet. Somehow, she turns all kinds of enemies into her own loyal followers, unable to disobey her orders. Like Darkseid, who's currently standing nearby, reporting on the progress of his conquest of the universe;
She keeps walking straight into corners, even when there's a dead end and nowhere left to go, then vanishes on the spot the very next second;
She calls every good-looking person she sees outside the family "wife," leaving them all pulling their hair out and forcing them to give her the talk ahead of time;
She barges into Arkham without a second thought, chatting away with the inmates. One moment, she gives them strange plants grown at Wayne Manor; the next, she slams someone's head into the wall.
Bruce looks at his youngest daughter, who stands before him with an expressionless face and eyes urging him, "I've got things to do," and feels utterly exhausted.
Just where did things go wrong?
