This isn't a wish-fulfillment story, and the top repeatedly gives in to the bottom because the plot forces him to. If that's not your thing, please don't read it. There is a groveling arc. (I personally don't think it's glossed over, but opinions differ. Don't force yourself to read it.) Happy ending. The family and friendship subplots are written in a very rambling way. My writing is poor and the plot is a mess. I can't write wealthy-family business intrigue, so I make it all up as I go. It can be pretty dumb. It's not very good, but thank you for indulging me.
