After Transmigrating, the Beautiful Paper Doll Won Over Five CEOs

This story updates every other day, with the goal of three updates a week. If anything comes up, I'll post older work in the adjacent story, Come Eat Hot Pot. I'm bad at writing blurbs, so little angels can read my short stories first to get a feel for my style.

Tao Yezhen is a beautiful paper character created for a romance game. Just before launch, the game shuts down, and he's about to be deleted. At the last moment, his consciousness awakens and he enters the game world. The System mistakes him for a “player,” giving him a dual identity as both a romance character and a player. As he interacts with the other romance characters, he gradually gains more real sensations. He uses the game system to enter more game worlds and tries to make his way to the real world.

The other romance characters, originally paper figures themselves, also develop more genuine emotions because of Tao Yezhen's freewheeling actions. They fall in love with him but can't make him stay. They can only watch as he arrives among them with a radiant smile, then leaves again without a care. Eventually, their longing and obsession turn into a viral substance that follows Tao Yezhen everywhere.

Opening World, Overbearing CEO 1: A cautious career-minded man who always puts work first. He'd never confess, and even after falling for the gong, he'd stubbornly insist he just wants the gong's body.

Beastman World, Overbearing CEO 2: An arrogant, domineering straight man with a chauvinistic streak who believes in the survival of the fittest and knows nothing about love. He immaturely bullies people to get their attention. After falling for the gong, he tries to force him to stay, and his protectiveness and possessiveness grow in equal measure.

Vampire World, Overbearing CEO 3: A cold, heartless, morbidly obsessive pureblood vampire. He originally watches the gong with malicious intent, secretly making things difficult for him. But then he's drawn to the gong's light and even steps in to help, hiding his flaws. He thinks he'll be able to make the gong stay, but after giving everything, he is utterly abandoned. Left with a curse, he falls into a despairing sleep.

Note: The author hasn't played any romance games. The game setting draws on dating sims, melodramatic comics, and similar works. Please forgive any offense.
