South China Sea Tide

Many people had asked her, "What is your ideal?"

Her answer never changed: to rid the world of injustice.

But there was so much injustice in the world.

She became the tyrant people spoke of, ruthless and cruel, with a heart of ice... Countless curses surrounded her, but she never cared.

A tyrant's fate was easy to guess. She was assassinated, and everyone raised their arms and cheered at her death. News of the celebration that swept the land was carried by the sea to a remote fishing village on the South Sea, for the tyrant had died by one of its tributaries.

The village was like a secluded paradise, cut off from the rest of the world. Its residents couldn't even say the tyrant's name, and the young children didn't know what the word "tyrant" meant.

Only three people were deeply affected by the news.

A fake doctor who claimed to heal the world, a schoolteacher who dabbled in the occult, and a fisherman who worked three days and took two off.
