By Your Side

In high school, Gu Yu had a desk mate who sat in front of her. He had a nasty personality and always talked back whenever she said anything.

But their constant bickering didn't drive them apart. By sheer coincidence, they stayed in each other's lives for a year. For all of senior year, they sat one in front of the other, keeping a relationship that was neither close nor distant.

After the college entrance exam, they went from desk mates to classmates. They didn't get into the same university and ended up far apart.

It wasn't until Gu Yu was telling her college classmates about high school that she realized Rong Gang was always part of her stories, impossible to leave behind.
