Xuelu was born with silver hair and red eyes, and was regarded as an ill omen by the world. Only Qingli, the Immortal Venerable of Kunlun Immortal Mountain, accepted her without prejudice and took her as his sole personal disciple.
A hundred years flew by. Thanks to her extraordinary swordsmanship, she became an emotionless sword cultivator of the Ruthless Dao, feared by everyone.
Sadly, the master who loved her most fell in the war between immortals and demons, and sank into an endless sleep.
To refine an elixir that could save her master, Xuelu searches everywhere for spirit herbs, only to accidentally transmigrate to another world.
The people in this world are strange. They regard those with black hair and black eyes as demons, while treating her, with her silver hair and red eyes, as their savior.
Whether she's this world's savior doesn't matter to Xuelu. She just has to find a way back.
By a stroke of luck, the key to opening the gate between worlds is in the king's treasury.
To get the key, she accepts the king's commission to kill Xifa, the vampire leader who abducted the princess.
She slays gods when gods block her way, and kills ghosts when ghosts stand in her path. Along the way, she also rescues a young man with blond hair and blue eyes.
The man says to her, "My only family, my younger sister, was taken by Xifa. May I accompany Miss Xuelu to the vampire leader's castle?"
Xuelu considers him a burden and turns him down on the spot.
Only after the man demonstrates his healing and defensive magic does she reluctantly agree.
On the road, Xuelu does all the killing up front, while the man heals her wounds. All in all, they make a decent team.
After crossing mountains and rivers, they finally reach the legendary castle of the vampire leader.
Xuelu summons her life-bound sword and cleaves the castle gates open with one strike.
"Xiya, the castle is so big. Where would they keep your sister and the princess?"
"Huh? I don't know either." Under the moonlight, the man's hair and eyes slowly turn black. "Why don't you stay in the castle and take your time looking, Miss Xuelu?"
[Bonus scene]
The demon Xifa threatens Xuelu, saying he'll drain her blood if she doesn't stay in the castle obediently.
Xuelu's eyes light up, and she takes out a book.
"In the western mountains there are demons... They love to eat human blood... Eating it prolongs one's life..." [Note: Quoted from The Classic of Mountains and Seas.]
"Wonderful! Master will be saved. Hehehe..."
When Qingli, the Immortal Venerable, wakes up, he feels as if the sky has fallen.
His beloved little disciple, the one who only ever had eyes for him, has actually been whisked away by a man more evil than the Demon Lord...
