But the eldest Zoldyck son transformed into a terrifying horror-movie ghost, haunting her wherever she went.
He even used all sorts of bizarre methods to stop her from making money!
She’d had enough!
But she couldn’t beat him, and she couldn’t shake him off. What was she supposed to do...?
After thinking it over, Vera figured that Illumi, her “ghostly ex,” valued money above all else. He’d even pluck a few hairs from a stray dog he passed on the street.
Surely someone like him would hate a woman who coveted his money...
So Vera told Illumi, “I love money. I love it very much.”
The eldest Zoldyck son smiled faintly. “What a coincidence. I’m rich, and so is my family.”
