Dad Is Muzan, Mom Is Tomie, and the Kid Is a Black-Mud Holy Grail

The new transfer student at Mihua Town Elementary School, Kibuji Hei Bei, has a pair of truly bizarre parents.

His father, Kibuji Wuscan, is an elegant pretty boy who follows Michael Jackson's trends from the last century.

Some say he's incredibly fussy. To avoid getting tanned by the sun, he has stuck to going out only after eight in the evening for ten years straight.

He's also very wealthy, and whenever he goes out he's always accompanied by a samurai with a high ponytail and a blindfolded shamisen-playing woman. What a spectacle. He also seems to have countless enemies, and samurai dressed in Taisho-era style are often seen blocking his door and hacking people down. Terrifying.

His next-door neighbor, a househusband who wishes to remain unnamed, says the man is also very good at seducing married women. Luckily, his own cooking is so much better that he hasn't had his home wrecked.

His mother, Tomie, is no less remarkable. She's a top-tier beauty, but her intelligence and social skills are both deeply in the red. This top-shelf narcissist can go out to buy breakfast and bump into a crowd of lovers.

According to Inspector Megure, who also wishes to remain unnamed, she's one of the main culprits behind Mihua Town's recent spike in adultery and soaring rate of passion killings.

Faced with her husband's bold, shameless freeloading, his wife chooses to repay a drop of kindness with a flood of generosity.

She dates rich younger men on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, goes shopping with rich older men on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and, when she feels like it, holds hands with wealthy women on Sundays. She goes for both men and women.

And naturally, Hei Bei, the child of such bizarre parents, is no good either.

When the soaking-wet Haibara Ai crawled to the professor's doorstep, a shadow was already standing in front of the door.

Her nerves immediately went taut.

Only after she saw that it was just an unfamiliar child did she finally let out a small breath of relief.

The black-haired, red-eyed child held out a hand.

"I ask you, are you my Master?"
