I'm Not a Follower of the Evil God

Tan Zelai runs an antiques shop.

A shopkeeper with superb sales skills, Tan Zelai knows how to recommend just what his customers need. Every so often, he also offers them little handmade trinkets.

Over time, his customers come to respect him deeply. Every day, they bring him simple local specialties to show their gratitude. Some of his competitors even want to become his apprentices and learn his advanced techniques.

His fame spreads far and wide.

One day, the man in charge of monitoring this eerie antiques shop, which has already cost him thirty-three subordinates, glares at him with bloodshot eyes:

"What is it you want?"

"As you can see..."

Tan Zelai spreads his arms. Behind him, the shadowy underworld sea stirs, echoing with the wails of the dead.

"To become the top salesperson, then work hard and earn myself a seaside villa with a garden. That's all."
