Oh, General Who Betrayed Your Country and Usurped the Throne for Me

Strong-willed, decisive gong & calm, levelheaded shou who plans several steps ahead

Ling Ye's parents were senior researchers for the Empire, but the Third Prince persecuted them, bringing disaster upon their whole family. Ling Ye survived only because his parents protected him.

Having barely survived, Ling Ye had only one goal in life: revenge.

An old friend of his parents handed Ling Ye a chip. "Are you really sure? If..."

Ling Ye took the chip and clenched it in his hand. "I've made up my mind. I'll do anything for revenge."

Of the Empire's several legion commanders, Fu Shuang, commander of the Third Legion, was the one whose name struck the most fear into people's hearts. When Ling Ye tried to assassinate the Third Prince, he happened to run straight into the commander's sights.

Ling Ye closed his eyes. "Kill me if you're going to."

Fu Shuang: "Who's trying to kill you? I'm here to propose."

Ling Ye: "Oh... What? But I'm an alpha..."

Fu Shuang: "So what?"

*

After Ling Ye assassinated the Third Prince, he became a wanted criminal throughout the Empire. When Fu Shuang found him, he handed Ling Ye an entire army.

"These are my private troops. Take them and fight your way back."

Ling Ye: "What are we fighting back for?"

Fu Shuang: "To seize the throne."

*

As expected, at the coronation ceremony, Fu Shuang, the Empire's new queen, was criticized by the assembled officials.

Just then, a little bundle wriggled out of Ling Ye's arms and climbed onto his shoulder. Ling Ye gently patted its back, then announced in front of everyone that the little one was first in line to inherit the throne.

Fu Shuang looked at the officials, the corner of his mouth curling into a cold smile.

This was the key card that would let him, an alpha, secure his position as queen and rule the harem alone.

* Gong-focused, alpha/alpha. The shou falls in love with the gong at first sight and pursues him. The shou pampers the gong a little more. This story isn't suitable for readers who are particular about gong or shou roles.

* The gong has a chip implanted to improve his abilities, turning him into a mechanically enhanced human. But there won't be any weird functions, and he won't become ugly. He'll stay handsome.

* The gong's coup isn't solely dependent on the shou. He has his own connections and forces.

* The shou is an alpha and won't carry a child. They have a child through ectogenesis, a technology only the shou possesses.
