If Subaru's Multiverse Life

Subaru possesses the power to return by death, but different choices lead him down different paths. After an accident, the characters from the if routes fall into a new world.

Pride, Jujutsu Kaisen

When Pride first arrives at Jujutsu High, his eyes are hollow. He had already found peace in choosing death, yet fate whimsically brought him back to life. Even taking his own life to seek peace is difficult, thanks to the arrival of a certain white-haired man and his involuntary returns by death.

But when he sees his classmates' blood everywhere, he willingly triggers Return by Death. He tries again and again, but just like all those times he was disemboweled before, he finds himself trapped in a dead end.

What should he do? Subaru falls apart.

How can he break out of this deadlock? Where is this world's [Sword Saint]?

His classmate, whose bangs stick out at odd angles, grins and waves at him. “Hey, why are you such a mess after training again today? Want to practice with my cursed spirit?”

A man with a scar at the corner of his mouth lifts his eyelids from the shadows and says indifferently, “Pay me enough and I'll deliver. What do you want me to do?”

Subaru's eyes tremble. He thinks he's found the answer.

Later, the decaying higher-ups are wiped out one by one, leaving only that distinctive little group behind. When a certain white-haired man is summoned for questioning, Subaru brings back the people who should have died, kicks open the door to the terrified old geezers, and unleashes bloodshed.

“...Subaru?”

“I'm a curse user who slaughtered jujutsu families, threw the jujutsu world into chaos, and let criminals escape. Now, Special Grade Sorcerer Gojo... Satoru, finish the last step and kill me.”

Subaru stands silhouetted against the light, placing the blade in Satoru's hand himself.

He's more familiar with bearing guilt than anyone.

Wrath, Bungo Stray Dogs

Wrath, stripped of all color, stares at this colorful city. Clashes break out one after another, and even as he vomits countless times, he closes his eyes and uses violence and bloodshed to make Yokohama last forever.

Everything that invades

“...Kill it,” he says lightly, then turns and leaves.

Only the inhuman can remain unchanged forever.

Greed, Detective Conan

Sloth, Hunter x Hunter

Gluttony, Inuyasha

Perhaps only by searching for the right answer again and again through death can they reach a happy ending in another world. But just as they grow lonely and lost, believing they've reached the end, Subaru appears before them, rubbing his head with shining eyes:

“Is this what they call being summoned to another world?!”

Subaru doesn't accept bad endings.
