Six Years After My Engagement to the Moonlight of My Life

Young Master Ai was handsome, refined, and gentle in temperament.

He had a fiancée, Zhiyue, the daughter of a powerful minister in a neighboring kingdom.

Zhiyue was as beautiful as a celestial maiden and came from a noble family, but she was arrogant, rude, spoiled, and domineering.

Six years ago, the two had become engaged for political gain. Six years later, Young Master Ai considered breaking off the engagement with Zhiyue.

Zhiyue was jealous by nature, so he found another woman of ordinary appearance and claimed he loved her and had consummated their relationship.

Zhiyue was furious, beat him up, and broke off their engagement.

But--

The real Young Master Ai was lowly, gloomy, and cold.

Amid the dust of the past, Zhiyue was the only person he had ever loved.

P.S. The male lead's perspective leans toward plot. It's the story of someone trapped in the mire who keeps climbing until he becomes a person of high standing.

The female lead's perspective leans toward romance. She was young and foolish, loved the wrong person, and later found herself haunted by a ghost.

This story began in May 2022. It was the author's first attempt at writing a story. Before knowing anything, publishing any work, or signing a contract, the author wrote 200,000 words of it in advance. It may not be a successful romance story, but the author remembers the excitement of creating each new character. Someday, the existing draft will be revised and posted here.

It also has a companion story, A Fu and Bi, whose protagonists are people Zhiyue meets later in the story.

[Content warning] The male lead is not a virgin and has been used and abused by men and women.
