Ji Ling was a little fox who had just taken human form. Excited to explore the human world, she traveled far and wide before finally settling in the bustling capital.

Seeing everyone else make a living, she decided to open a small restaurant of her own. It was on the busiest street, yet she had very few customers, and everyone who came once never returned.

Ji Ling was worried.

The next day, she actually got a returning customer. He had handsome, refined features and was dressed beautifully. In a mild voice, he told her, "All your dishes are only three minutes cooked. People will get stomachaches if they eat them."

Ji Ling nodded, still a little confused.

The customer came and went, and Ji Ling eagerly waited for him. At last, she decided to take her original fox form and sneak into his home to see what he was doing.

Wow! His home was so grand!

Ji Ling perched on the eaves and didn't want to leave. The customer would spend most of the day reading case files in his study. She'd nap, then pace back and forth across the roof while waiting for him.

When the customer ate, she drooled with envy.

When the customer bathed, she still drooled with envy.

One way foxes could cultivate was by having sex with humans and absorbing their essence. Ji Ling decided she had a crush on him!

So during the day, Ji Ling took human form and worked hard to get close to the customer (and seduce him). At night, she took fox form and tricked him into feeding her and letting her sleep in a warm bed. She'd curl up on his lap and keep him company as he worked late by lamplight, or laze around in the room where he bathed, openly watching...

As time passed, she felt that her human self was close to succeeding, while the customer secretly prepared a marriage contract.

Then, by accident, Ji Ling changed from a fox into a human while clinging to him.

The customer, whose clothes were in disarray, looked distraught. "You? ...Get out!"

Afraid she might never get another chance, Ji Ling decided to go all the way and have her way with him.

The next day, the customer, sore all over, was even more distraught. He turned away from her on the bed and shut his eyes, refusing to look at her.

Ji Ling leaned close to his ear and asked, confused, "Zhaosheng, don't you like me anymore?"

From the hero's perspective:

I met a beautiful young woman who seemed a little silly, and occasionally helped her with her business.

I met a horny fox with sleek, smooth fur who appeared at night, so I kept it.

The silly young woman pursued me, and I fell for her, going along with it to an extent.

The horny fox turned into the silly young woman in my arms and forced herself on me.
