Zhaodi Must Ascend the Throne

At twenty-three, her father is a murderer. Chen Zhaodi places first in the civil service written exam, but is unfairly rejected. In bitter disappointment, she abandons government work and goes into business.

At thirty, Chen Zhaodi sits in a top-floor office in the capital's CBD, thinking that life is utterly boring.

When she opens her eyes again, Chen Zhaodi is five. Below her are four little sisters: Niandi, Pandi, Wangdi, and Laidi. Her mother is pregnant with Yaozu.

Famine, bandits, natural disasters... In the waning years of the dynasty, the people are plunged into misery.

Chen Zhaodi goes from being a billionaire CEO to a despised girl who has to steal just to eat an egg, and she's overjoyed!

"The peaceful modern world gave me knowledge and ideas, and this chaotic feudal society gives me room to grow. Everything has worked out exactly as it should!"

Chen Zhaodi looks at Niandi, Pandi, Wangdi, and Laidi, brimming with confidence. "My prime minister, grand marshal, censor-in-chief, and great general who guards the nation, come and behold the realm of the Chen family!"

"My big sister is Chen Zhaodi. She was born to be emperor!"
