Blurb:
One-on-one romance / The couple stays together and their roles never reverse / Master is the top! Master is the top! Master is the top! Important things must be said three times.
A clueless, lazy master on top x a grumpy, stubborn disciple on the bottom
Liu Nanzhou had been stubborn and bad with words since childhood. His family was poor, and his parents couldn't afford to raise him, so they abandoned him.
He spent two miserable years wandering before the head of the Tianyao Sect took him in.
There was a man in the sect with a face as beautiful as jade, exactly like the immortal Liu Nanzhou had imagined. So when the sect leader told him to choose a master, Liu Nanzhou picked that man without hesitation.
He never expected that his "immortal" would be an inept master who couldn't even fly on a sword. His name was Qi Wuyu, and he was so weak he couldn't lift or carry anything. He was out of breath after walking just a few steps.
Liu Nanzhou: Huh?
Qi Wuyu never did anything useful, was terrible at cultivation, and had an exceptional talent for getting into trouble.
He took Liu Nanzhou to catch fish in a lake and capsized their boat, poisoned himself with homemade wine, and nearly set the house on fire while setting off fireworks.
Liu Nanzhou: ...
A master this unreliable was hard to find even if you carried a lantern. Liu Nanzhou pressed his lips together. He had chosen this master himself, so he would just have to accept it, even if he had to do so on his knees.
Fortunately, although Qi Wuyu was usually a bit of a fool, he could be quite dependable when it mattered. But...
Liu Nanzhou: With your third-rate skills, don't charge into a fight!
Qi Wuyu: Huh? Me?
Then Liu Nanzhou watched as spiritual energy surged around Qi Wuyu, his silver hair stirred in the wind, and he looked like an immortal descended to earth. He held a long sword and shielded Liu Nanzhou behind him. There was no sign of the man who couldn't lift or carry anything.
Liu Nanzhou: ...Who are you?
Qi Wuyu tilted his head and smiled. "Your master."
After losing his spiritual power, Qi Wuyu had spent his days loafing around the Tianyao Sect. No one wanted to choose a good-for-nothing as their master, and he was perfectly happy with the peaceful life.
He never expected the sect leader to bring back a little brat with poor eyesight who insisted on choosing him as a master. The brat was good in every way: pretty and sensible, but far too quiet.
Liu Nanzhou always did more than he said. Before Qi Wuyu knew it, he had grown into an adult who could protect him. Qi Wuyu liked him more and more, though it seemed his feelings were becoming a little less appropriate.
This was bad. He hadn't even figured out how to be a master, and already he had become a beast lusting after his disciple.
He scolded himself inwardly while secretly watching his little disciple every day. In his vanity, he believed that if he hadn't fallen for him, his teaching career would have been nothing short of perfect.
Then one day, Qi Wuyu discovered that Liu Nanzhou had somehow developed a heart demon. Looking closely, he saw that the demon had a face exactly like his own!
Qi Wuyu was horrified. "What's going on?!"
Just as Qi Wuyu had figured out what was happening, the little brat stabbed him with a sword and ran off without a word!
Qi Wuyu was so furious he almost laughed. Did the brat really think he had no temper?
He had no choice but to take up the sword he hadn't used in ages and head down the mountain to catch his disciple.
Master-and-disciple daily life:
Liu Nanzhou: Breathing.
Qi Wuyu: You're seducing me.
Liu Nanzhou: Practicing swordsmanship.
Qi Wuyu: You're seducing me.
Liu Nanzhou (clenching his fist): Stop picking a fight for no reason.
Qi Wuyu: Hm? Why are you acting so coy?
Liu Nanzhou: ?
A few notes before reading
1. Updates every other day under normal circumstances, or according to the site's schedule when featured. I'll take a leave if anything comes up.
2. A silly, brainless cultivation rom-com. If you take logic seriously, this may not be for you. Everything serves the plot, the setting is full of original details, both leads are sexually pure, and it has a happy ending.
3. I know it's very easy to mistake their roles, so I'll say it again: the master is the top! I just want this kind of story.
4. Friendly discussion, criticism, and corrections are welcome. No nitpicking or baiting fights.
5. They are both very much in love with each other.
Thanks for your support. I hope you enjoy the story and have a happy day, every day!

"Green Tea Younger Guy Has Me Totally Under His Thumb"
An easily placated, short-tempered green tea guy on top x a gentle, nurturing bottom
Chai Shao never expected that, as a guy in his twenties who had never even been in a relationship, he would end up raising someone else's child.
The child was his master's. His master died during an arrest operation, leaving behind this one child.
It was Chai Shao who should have gone on that operation.
Lü Hui had no suitable guardian, so Chai Shao said, "Come home with me."
*
Of course, children were hard to handle, especially a child who hated him.
Chai Shao gave Lü Hui almost everything he wanted. Even when Lü Hui got hurt in a fight, Chai Shao would only apply medicine and ask, "Does it hurt?"
Everyone said Lü Hui had a terrible temper. Chai Shao was the only one who didn't think so.
What was so bad about it? The kid was just going through puberty.
Until Chai Shao realized Lü Hui seemed to like boys.
Chai Shao: ...What do I do if I've turned someone else's kid gay?
Chai Shao was stunned.
Chai Shao couldn't understand.
Chai Shao couldn't accept it.
Neither of them could persuade the other. Then, just as Lü Hui was about to start college, Chai Shao packed him and his luggage off together.
After all, Lü Hui had wanted to leave him for ages.
*
Lü Hui left with a heart full of love and resentment that Chai Shao knew nothing about. In a fit of spite, he enrolled at a school in a faraway province, and regretted it almost as soon as he left. He had acted on impulse, never realizing just how far away it was from Chai Shao.
He spent four years trying to let go, only to fall even deeper.
So after graduating, he returned without hesitation. All he wanted was Chai Shao.
There was just one problem: his uncle seemed to be homophobic.
This was going to be tricky...
*
Chai Shao felt that Lü Hui had changed a lot since coming back. He was obedient and considerate, and even brought him meals.
He proudly introduced him to a new colleague: "This is my nephew."
He didn't notice Lü Hui's expression freeze for an instant.
Just a nephew? That wouldn't do.
Lü Hui played for sympathy and acted pitiful, managing to sleep in Chai Shao's room for days in a row. Chai Shao was beginning to wonder whose room it even was. Sensing that something was off, he decided to defend his dignity and reclaim his territory. No matter how much Lü Hui complained, he absolutely would not share a bed with him again tonight!
Lü Hui listened without arguing or making a scene. He asked miserably, "Uncle, am I bothering you? I'm sorry."
Chai Shao was used to Lü Hui expressing his anger directly and had never encountered this sort of tactic. His conscience began to bother him terribly.
Chai Shao: ...Fine. Lights out. Go to sleep!
Where Chai Shao couldn't see, Lü Hui's lips curled up.
Having a soft heart makes you so easy to fool.

"He has been too calm these days..." This is a big bug for the author~
I'm jumping to watch, Master, will he rise up in the end? Will Master still be unable to cultivate and become an ordinary person with a long life in the future? What if the disciple ascends in the future? What if the disciple's lifespan is longer than the master? How sad it would be 😭, I'm jumping to watch, can anyone answer the question 😭
If you act like this, your inner demons will become even more powerful 💔, wood!
