Chasing Clues, Seeking Shadows

On a rainy night, Yu Wu brought home a black cat with golden eyes. From then on, every case seemed strangely familiar.

Corpses in the morgue rising up to cry out for justice, a hundred-person sacrificial ritual in a restricted mountain region, a celebrity found dead with a beast's body and a human face...

Yu Wu knew every detail of these cases, as if he'd witnessed them firsthand, and solved them with uncanny ease.

He never believed in ghosts or gods. He was convinced the killer was copying other crimes.

Until one day, when he was in danger, the cat he always carried suddenly transformed in midair into a long-limbed youth. The youth twisted around to save him, baring his teeth and silently warning something in the air.

Yu Wu: ?

What is that thing?

Then, at a nearby car crash, he sensed that familiar presence again. This time, it showed him the way he would die.
