My Ex, Who Died in the Line of Duty Three Years Ago, Is Back

#The character settings are unchanged. I'll revise the blurb's main idea again later.

#Everyone says Yu Danyue is beautiful and lucky. She got promoted, made a fortune, and outlived her husband, rising straight to the top of the task force.

That is, until one day, her long-dead ex suddenly came back from the grave.

He also brought back a string of bizarre murders that threatened the peace of the city.

Li Shuheng regained his freedom and flew back at once. He thought his beautiful fiance would throw herself into his arms, but all he got was a cool glance and the words, "You're the most convincing stand-in I've had in three years. I'll allow you to stay by my side."

Li Shuheng, more handsome and manly than ever, nodded. Fine. He wanted to see what this stand-in could do.

It wasn't until one day, when he got the drunk Yu Danyue to cry out his name, that he realized the beauty had been doing it on purpose.

She'd deliberately kept him close, and deliberately used him as bait to catch the culprit.
