The Vengeful Ghost Gets Entangled with the Universally Despised Young Master

[A seemingly gloomy, twisted, resentment-filled red-clad evil ghost seme who is actually very obedient after being trained X a seemingly sweet, soft uke who gets bullied but is actually a deranged, sadistic real young master]

After Gu Qinghuai is brought back to his wealthy family, he always wears simple long sleeves and trousers, looking completely out of place among his luxurious family.

He's quiet and reserved. When the fake young master provokes him, he acts timid and only smiles gently, even saying he'll make up for the gifts he missed.

His adoptive parents quickly lose interest in the timid Gu Qinghuai. They let others sneer at him and scheme to send him off in an arranged marriage.

But ever since Gu Qinghuai's luggage arrived at the house, red dye with a faint, fishy smell has kept floating in the Gu family's sink, and strands of long hair occasionally surface in the drains.

At first, nobody paid any attention. The fake young master even bet his friends that he'd tear Gu Qinghuai's clothes off to see whether he was covered in chilblains.

Until one night, the fake young master is woken by the sound of dripping water from upstairs. Furious, he pushes open Gu Qinghuai's door.

He sees the black-haired young man with his clothes half undone, his pale body covered in countless black markings.

The fake young master looks up and meets a pair of dark red eyes. It's as if he's fallen into freezing water, unable even to breathe.

He faints, but wakes up in his own bed the next day as if nothing happened.

The Gu family has been acting strangely lately.

For instance, Gu's parents often find themselves unable to move at night, while the servants discover that the stairs seem to have no end when they clean them.

Gradually, the strange happenings spread further.

The fake young master's friends run into one misfortune after another, and the Gu family's business is repeatedly hit by trouble.

Gu's father calls in an exorcist in the middle of the night. The greasy, self-satisfied master steps through the front door and immediately demands a million to draw talismans and perform a ritual.

"There are quite a few ghosts in your home. It'll cost extra." He smugly wipes the sweat from his forehead, then suddenly notices how eerily quiet it has become.

"How much extra?" Gu Qinghuai, the only one left in the house, watches the whole scene with his arms folded. Countless ghostly figures are reflected in his red eyes.

"You committed a crime twenty years ago." A wandering Taoist happens to pass by. Looking at the Gu residence shrouded in black qi, he sighs repeatedly.

"You treated him as an ill omen and abandoned him. After taking him back, you treated him even worse. He gave you time to atone."

"This is an evil ghost, born from wailing and screams of terror, and fed by desire and greed." The Taoist takes a step back as the talisman in his palm turns to dust. "Even if exorcised, it will be reborn amid the wailing."

"So it can't be killed." Gu Qinghuai emerges from somewhere, wearing simple long sleeves and trousers, exactly as he did on his first day at the Gu residence.

"Cang Chen." He walks past the Taoist and the trembling members of the Gu family, reaching out toward the black mist. "Come here."

The red-clad evil ghost finally appears and obediently rests his fingertips in Gu Qinghuai's palm.

"Darling, our story is just beginning~"
