After the Useless Bug King Became a Foolish Emperor

Lucy Wang was the most useless emperor in the Insect Empire. He was timid and weak in combat, an embarrassment to the history of the insect race. But thanks to the Insect King's genes, he managed to sit on the throne for a hundred years. When the next Insect King was born, he finally breathed a sigh of relief and immediately chose to go into hibernation.

But he never expected that when he woke up, he would... become an emperor again?!!

Li Lucy, the most terrifying tyrant in the Yuanmeng Empire. After inheriting the throne, he slaughtered his own kin, filled his harem with beautiful women he abducted, listened to treacherous ministers and executed loyal ones, and lived in extravagance and debauchery, squandering the treasury...

His crimes were too numerous to list.

And yet, from that supreme position, he could satisfy every one of his ambitions.

The ministers thought the nation was doomed and prepared to give their lives for it. They never expected Lucy Wang to arrive.

Treacherous Minister: "Your Majesty, we are certain to lose this battle. We might as well kill Pei Qingji and present his head to the Xingluo Empire, then cede all the land north of North Swan Lake. With an indemnity of three billion star coins, we can surely secure peace and stability."

Lucy blinked, bewildered. Xingluo, falling stars, the name alone sounds inauspicious. It must be headed for ruin. No, no, we can't rely on them.

Treacherous Consort: "Your Majesty, I dreamed of a divine realm last night and have drawn a picture of it. If Your Majesty lived there, you would surely be the equal of the gods."

Lucy shrank back and dodged her slender hand. No, he's useless, he doesn't deserve to live in such a splendid place.

Treacherous Attendant: "Your Majesty, I hear there's a luminous pearl in the South Jiao Sea that aids sleep and promotes good health. Shall I send someone to fetch it for Your Majesty to enjoy?"

Lucy: A luminous pearl? Is it valuable? His old palace had three hundred of them embedded in the walls. They were only good for lighting things up.

Later.

Pei Qingji knelt on both knees, the corners of his eyes red. "I am willing to become Your Majesty's sword and expand your territory. I only ask that Your Majesty temper me."

Chi Xin stood straight and composed. "My heart for Your Majesty is as bright as the sun and moon. Would Your Majesty be willing to admire flowers with me in spring and the moon in autumn?"

Ye Chuluo's peach-blossom eyes were full of passion. "Your Majesty can only be mine. If you so much as glance at someone else, I'll be jealous and heartbroken."

Lucy swallowed, trembling. Help... someone help him. He only wants to be a useless emperor and keep lying flat.
