Socially Anxious, Yet Everyone's Favorite

Yuan Man is socially anxious. In his previous life, he enjoyed staying home, but in this life he has to play the saint to pay off his debt.

System: [Skills are activated through physical contact, sensory interaction, emotional exchange...]

Yuan Man: [I can't do that...]

System: [That's okay. Fail a mission and your punishment is social death!]

Yuan Man: [Wait, I can still save this!]

So he braced himself and embarked on the path to save the world.

Mission 1: Blend into the crowd and return to the city. Hopefully everyone will mistake him for an extra.

In reality: He spent the whole time hypnotizing himself with "I'm an NPC, they can't see me," only for the crowd to kneel down and worship him...

Mission 2: Purify the mayor from a distance, confident that he'd successfully gone invisible.

In reality: To everyone else, he looked like moonlight made flesh, radiating holy light!

How others see him: A distant deity, untouched by the mundane world, someone who makes them want to kneel and kiss the hem of his pants.

How he really is: Save me, save me! Socializing is terrifying. Can I skip the last step of this stupid mission?!

Finally, Yuan Man: Why are you all kneeling? This is a free world!

---Up next: Infinite Rewinds, The Boss Begs Me to Clear the Game. Please add it to your collection---

Ji Laizhi enters an infinite game. The bad news: he's a pretty useless player. The good news: he has a golden finger, the ability to rewind infinitely.

But he never expected the game's final boss to be able to see his rewinds.

Rewind 1: In the pitch-black night, the worshipped god opens his eyes...

Ji Laizhi is too tired during the day and just wants to sleep a little longer at night.

Rewind, and keep sleeping.

The god closes his eyes, then opens them again...

Back to sleep.

Eyes closed, eyes open...

The god: ...Are you ever going to let me open my eyes? Trash, stop bothering him while he's sleeping.

Rewind 2: Ji Laizhi has terrible luck. In a roulette game, he draws a dangerous house on his first try.

Rewind, draw!

The demon hands him a card.

Rewind, draw again!

The demon hands him another card.

The demon: Enough. Here's the best card.

Later: The boss hugs Ji Laizhi. "Rewind. I want to kiss you again."

Pretty useless player vs. evil boss

Theme: In adversity, strive even harder and win a place for yourself to catch your breath.
