The Big White Rabbit, Chasing a Snake Demon

In a world ruled by humanity, little spirits with weak magical powers have no choice but to secretly blend in with the crowds.

Zhao Zhemian is a little snake demon with seven hundred years of cultivation. Born to a snake demon and a human, he was warned by his snake demon mother: Human lives are too short. Don't choose a human as your partner.

Zhao Zhemian is very open-minded about what sort of spirit he might date. Scaly or horned are both fine, and fluffy sounds nice, too.

But this year, he met a human who pursued him relentlessly.

He liked browsing flower shops and going for walks, especially in parks full of grass. He was good at baking and especially fond of vegetable salad. He even made sweet-and-sour radishes and presented them to Zhao Zhemian like a treasured gift. In short, he was a cute, lively young man.

Zhao Zhemian: Human lives are too short. It's heartbreaking. I'd better forget it.

Tu Bai is a little rabbit demon with five hundred years of cultivation. A purebred rabbit demon, he's had a happy life and has the courage to pursue love.

That year, he met a particularly handsome human.

Long hair, narrow phoenix eyes, and captivating, dangerous golden irises. One glance was all it took for Tu Bai's heart to race.

The beauty liked cold food, so Tu Bai prepared all sorts of dishes: cold salads, fresh fruit juice, anything he could make. If he didn't know how, he learned right away.

The beauty was afraid of the cold and liked to sleep. No problem. They could draw the curtains, wrap themselves in a quilt, and sleep together every day.

Tu Bai: Human lives are too short. It's heartbreaking, but I'll keep trying.

Then one day...

Tu Bai's demonic power went haywire, and he accidentally turned back into his original form. But the arrow was already nocked, flying straight toward his snow-white fur. At that critical moment, Zhao Zhemian beside him suddenly transformed into a beautiful golden snake, coiled around his fluffy body, and swiftly slipped into the forest...

After surviving the ordeal, Tu Bai's heart pounded wildly. Looking at Zhao Zhemian, who had turned back into human form, he belatedly realized: Whoa! I thought it was love at first sight, but it turns out he's my danger radar!

Rabbit Dad: I object to this marriage. It's terrifying!

Rabbit Mom: I approve. My son is amazing, managing to win over a seven-hundred-year-old snake demon.
