High School Boys Have to Save the World Too!

A father who died young, a missing mother;

Grades as heavy as a counterweight, and a broken boy.

A fortune-teller once told Sen Huai that his name had too many wood radicals, and that he was born with ghosts in his fate. With such overpowering yin energy, he was destined to stray from the right path.

Sen Huai, who didn't believe a word of it, just laughed. Studying hard and making something of himself was his mother's final instruction before she disappeared.

To hell with being destined to stray from the right path. He was going to use his studies to refute this feudal superstition fair and square!

The trouble was, studying really was hard. Knowledge just wouldn't stick in his head, until one day, a System and an entry ticket to infinite horror came crashing down on him. Only then did Sen Huai realize:

There are no stupid students, only teaching methods that don't suit them.

Change tracks, and it turned out he really was a genius!

Physics that lets him become the Thunderbolt Lord and alter speed and gravity; chemistry that enables endless explosions and eerie alchemy; biology that can alter flesh and blood; foreign languages that let him communicate with any living thing with a spirit...

As his studies deepened and his grades in each subject rose, Sen Huai unlocked more and more abilities and ran wild through the instances, proving through action that:

Knowledge really is power!

"...So that's your explanation for showing up at the scene of five consecutive super-scale murders?"

"I'm innocent, officer! I really am innocent!"

Carefully wiping the blood from the cat's mouth, Sen Huai cradled the plump cat, its sleek black fur gleaming, and declared righteously,

"I was just here to fight criminals. Maintaining social order is everyone's responsibility, right, Mimi?"

"Meow!"
