Sent to War in My Father's Place During a Time of Turmoil (Farming)

The young daughter of a grandmaster of card arts is clever, talented, and well-resourced, yet she plays a winning hand terribly. While others use cards to slay gods and ghosts, she uses them to stockpile soil, trees, mountains, water, oil, and grain.

Her father sighs. "...When the world goes to war, you can stay in the rear and keep the supplies coming."

So Chu Feitian begins her shameless, unhinged stockpiling spree, gathering everything under the sun and digging three thousand feet underground to store it.

A hundred years later, no world war has broken out, and she's stockpiled just about everything she could. She's ready to find a nice place to retire early.

She opens her eyes and finds herself a scrawny thirteen-year-old from Taoyuan Village. Her father dotes on her, her mother loves her, and her little sister is sweet, but they can't afford food. Meanwhile, the land is engulfed in war on all sides, and officials have come to the village to conscript able-bodied men.

Hey! Her dad really was a genius. He knew she'd end up in a war!

Chu Feitian volunteers for the army. The commander sees that she's small and skinny but nimble, so he assigns her to the rear as a camp cook.

After she becomes the cook, they start growing rice, chili peppers, watermelons, and medicinal herbs!

The army grows visibly stronger and becomes unstoppable. In one year, they take back ten cities and reclaim the lost frontier. In two years, they drive out the barbarians. In three, they unite the two kingdoms. In five, the land is at peace, and the people live and work in contentment.

At the victory banquet in the capital, someone asks why they won so quickly. The Flying Team's general laughs arrogantly. "Quick? We don't even move this fast when we're scrambling for food. When Sister Fei bangs her ladle on the pot, even the birds grow a fourth wing!"

"Why?"

"Because if you're late, you get shit."

"..."

Bonus Scene:

The soldiers of Dazhou are in high spirits, winning battle after battle. Dongji refuses to face them head-on, so it sends its royal preceptor to negotiate peace.

Three months later, the preceptor has not returned.

Six months later, he still has not returned.

The emperor sends an envoy to ask why he hasn't come back.

"Oh, their food is so good. Let me negotiate for a few more months and enjoy a few more meals."

"???"

"..."

"!!!!!!!"

Nine months later, the emperor discovers that the envoy he sent hasn't returned either...

#If you keep this up, I'll have to go myself!

#Damn it!
