Chu Meng was an utterly ordinary Trainer who hatched eggs and farmed raids, and knew absolutely nothing about battling.

Her favorite thing was to ride Koraidon around the grass inside the low walls outside Mesagoza, with Talonflame, hatching eggs as they ran.

That day, she had just caught the strongest Primarina in a seven-star raid. Then the screen filled with static, and Chu Meng lost consciousness.

When Chu Meng woke up, she had transmigrated to a magical world with her game console in hand, and Rotom had taken up residence inside it.

Rotom accidentally merged with the System and now lived in the game console. As long as Chu Meng and her Pokemon explored the magical world together, the other Pokemon in the box could come into reality.

Just imagining herself riding Koraidon, with Sprigatito perched on her shoulder, Meloetta and Dragonite flying overhead, and the whole Eevee family, Lucario, and more following behind, made Chu Meng ecstatic.

Huh? How did I, a Trainer, become a rare Summoner?

Just after landing in this world, she opened her starter bundle and ended up holding Ditto. A passing Head Witch thought she was on her way to take the entrance exam.

Chu Meng, brought to the Magic Academy by the "kind-hearted" witch, was bouncing all over the place on a magic broom, throwing up nonstop.

Chu Meng: Rotom! Get me a comfortable, self-driving magic broom!

Rotom: Instead of asking me, why not have Ditto turn into a Psychic-type and carry you with its psychic powers?

Ditto: Ma~ ma~ (I'm asleep. Do not disturb.)

A magic orb identified Chu Meng as a Summoner of all types, and she learned some basic information about the world at the Magic Academy.

But because she was the only Summoner and needed a medium (Poke Balls), the witch told her she couldn't teach her and "invited" her to leave the academy.

Chu Meng: What just happened? One second I'm a genius, the next I'm being kicked out of the academy?

Rotom: System-made, guaranteed quality. Host, begin exploring your world!

Chu Meng: Ditto! Turn into Clodsire and use Mud Shot!
