Qin Xu is cold and taciturn. The only thing she likes is a hugely popular game, but what she likes even more is one particular team, and the person fighting tooth and nail on the esports stage.

She spent every last cent she had earned from her summer job just to watch that person's match in person.

But she witnessed a spectacular defeat, and the end of a team.

And she saw that person give up everything just to make it back to the stage and win again.

But fate was clearly unfair. A comeback was far from easy. Victory was always right there, but somehow it remained out of reach.

Qin Xu thought, then let me bring her an opportunity, and let us create a victory together.

From the beginning to the end, Zhou Xi had only one goal in competition: to stand on the highest podium and win as much as possible.

She would do whatever it took to win.

Her friends transferred to other teams because of it, and her teammates chose to leave... But it didn't matter. The road to victory was always a lonely one.

Somewhere along the way, someone started waiting for her outside the training room. A sparring partner appeared at the gym, and in the game, she gained a teammate so in sync with her that they didn't even need to communicate.

Zhou Xi pinched her chin and smiled. "This isn't enough."

The woman replied, "Until we win, of course it isn't enough."
